The CL 5000d brings powerful output and all conditions durability to the aerial market. Engineered to support high resolution imaging work for cinema and industrial applications, the compact design and sophisticated firmware allows full operation from the drone controller and can be powered through the drone’s on-board battery. Remarkably the 5000d is 100% waterproof (IP68) and is optimized to withstand the worst inclement weather; an innovative feature that is designed to meet the demands of emerging weather-proof drone technology.
High Output COB “chip on board” Daylight Balanced LED provides cinematic quality output
FL-1 certified 5000 lumens with regulated output to prevent dimming
Remote control capability using an RC Servo PWM Channel to control light
Operates from drone or camera battery with 13 to 25 volt input; attaches to variety of battery connectors (Deans, XT60, or EC5) for independent external power
¼ x 20 threaded mounting point mounts on conventional camera gimbals, GoPro interface also available
Thermal protection is achieved through passive cooling, even with drone stationary or grounded.
Range of light modifiers including the aerial cinematagrapher’s favorite 25-degree Fresnel
If you are purchasing an LED light you will notice that the measurement is in lumens, not watts. We grew up on watts and seemingly overnight watts disappeared and lumens took their place. A lumen is a measure of light visible to the human eye. There are plenty of wavelengths of light the human eye can’t see so lumens simply measure light we can see. But lumens are much harder to measure than watts.
